High Precision Pull Down Arm (HPPA)
The HPPA is a manual "pull down / push up" tool setting system for use on CNC lathes. It is designed to permanently reside in the machine envelope.
When needed, the HPPA is manually "pulled-down" into position. After use the arm is "pushed-up" away from the cutting volume.
All HPPA systems are supplied with an enclosure to protect the probe and stylus assembly when not in use. HPPA hubs are available in both R/E (rear exit) and S/E (side exit) configurations. S/E hubs are supplied with a fixed 5 m cable. R/E hubs are supplied with a bulkhead connector and require the purchase of a separate cable.
